We sat at the same table as the other guests, there was a great atmosphere at the hotel, our room had an max view of the mountains. the next morning we headed with our guide for Toubkal, the trek was amazing and our guide was kind, patient and friendly. I spent two days around Toubkal and visited the Tamsoult waterfall on the 3rd day - a real jem off the beaten track (to do absolutely, but only if you are superfit and capable of walking for 8 hours on the day following the Toubkal climb...)! Mustapha who was my guide was very friendly and eager to share his enthusiasm and passion for the region. Definitely recommend the services.

We got the guide, sleeping bag (quite big), mule with a rider and crampons - and the crampons were extremely needed and useful. We got the food in the shelter which was ok but much better was the lunch we took on the way back somewhere on the track (included in price). Our guide was very Nice and we had some funny moments . He took care Of us though sometimes we struggled a bit with understanding each other using english - he preferred french which we did not speak at all.
Anyway we went to Toubkal during the night which was soo awesome! And we were on the summit on the sun rise and it was beautiful but extremely cold - freezing and windy.

When I planed my trip to Morocco, focused on Jbel Toubkal ascent with a humble wish to see some more places,... read more I had only a weak idea how to travel around and not to lose too much time. When I tried to book a night under Toubkal, I found a link to Toubkal Voyages and their offer of mountain and desert trip. I decided to accept their offer (with a slight change) and I must say, it was the best decission of the whole trip.
First 2 days we climbed Toubkal with a wonderful gude Lassen. We consider ourselves experienced hikers, but we never climbed over 3000 m, so we felt respect to the mountain. Our guide led us smoothly to the summit and back in a way, we didn´t feel any ache or other symproms of the mountain sickness.
Following 4 days we travelled to gorges Dades and Todra, to the desert and historical places Ait Benhaddou and Telouet (to mention at lest some visited places) with a guide Samir and a driver Youssuf. We were absolutelly impressed by a country itself, presented in an amazing way by our gudes. They explained us many things about the places visited, drove us safely throughout the way and were always ready to stop for a picture or any interesting place to visit. They planed a trip in a way that fitted us perfectly, planed breaks for drinks and lunches at nice restaurants with delicious local food. Everything was underlined by the hotels we stayed overnight, all of them were very friendly and comfortable. Thanks to Toubkal Voyages and their staff we have seen a lot and brought deep impression of Morocco. I recommend everyone visiting Marrakech to make a trip with Toubkal Voyages at least for few days to see experience much more than the city can offer.   Me and my cousin booked this trip. There was very good contact with Hamid. We were asked if we want one more guy to join us and agreed. So during... read more the departure day, we were picked by a driver and went to Imlil in comfortable car. We met Abdu, our guide, who took us to shop to buy medicines and water. We had a mule, but we have decided not to use it to make our trip more challenging. Our group started trek to the shelter. Pace dictated by Abdu was very good for all of us, quite fast, but not exhausting for people with good condition. We had two stops - one for an orange juice and one for our lunch, which was tasty and there was more food that three of us could eat. In the shelter he has allowed us to go few hundred meters higher to see the views. Later we had a dinner in the shelter and we were said to be ready for a breakfast at 5am. We left at 5:30, after few groups, but Abdu's pace was again 100% great for us and we passed all other groups and were first on the top of North Africa. He took few photos of us. Going down was also very fast and he told us few legends and showed us places with nice views. We have decided not to stay for a lunch in the shelter and Abdu has organised lunch for us lower. He told us about prices for souvenirs and gave us few tips about Morroco.
Abdu was a great guide, hope to meet him again.

Only recommendation, ask to start with the light because it's really freezing in winter time before sunset and you can't stay long time in the summit. I recommend this agency

  Very nice trip ! Walking poles are not included and it would be great to have a cheaper option without mules and sleeping bags. Crampons were useful but not necessary,... read more there should be necessary in december. You cannot go to the refuge and summit without guide since 2019. In the refuge normal sleeping bags were enough because we sleep in a dormitory and it's not cold. For those who spend few days in the refuge no hot shower there. I recommand February because not so hot and few snow making landscape beautiful. Have a nice trip!

  We was started our trip in sunny Marrakesh.From Marrakesh to Imlil (mountain village)we drive by taxi which was in a prize it was very good and fast mode of... read more transportation.In Imlil we go to the Hamid house and next time we go to the mountains with friends and the best quide Abdu.Before when we go to the national Toubkal park we have the very fast passport control but it is not a problem.During wen we walk to the refuge du Toubkal (3207m.n.p.m) we have few break to drink fresh best orange juice.In the afternoon we have good dinner in the last village on our the mountain track.During the all mountain trip we have donkey with special bag to use them but we don;t need.When we stay at refuge du Tobukal we get changed and we go some higher 30 minutes walk to best acclimatization.In the refuge we have supper ,shower and fireplace ,refuge was very very nice and this climate was unique.People in refuge and during all our trip was friendly and very cool.In the morning after breakfast we started the top attack at 5:30 a.m.From refuge to the top we walk during 2 hours and we back.We can leave some equipment or clothes in the refuge when we go to the top.Our guide Abdu was very good he told some history form the mountain ,he answer to all ask and he is very friendly and helpfull.When we back to Imlil we have dinner from Imlil we back to Marrakesh by taxi from this trip.It was the best trip in my live and I recommend this kind of trip for all people who have some condition.For sure this trip will stay in my memory for a long time and I would willingly return there.See you on the top 😉
