We sat at the same table as the other guests, there was a great atmosphere at the hotel, our room had an max view of the mountains. the next morning we headed with our guide for Toubkal, the trek was amazing and our guide was kind, patient and friendly. So during... read more the departure day, we were picked by a driver and went to Imlil in comfortable car. We met Abdu, our guide, who took us to shop to buy medicines and water. We had a mule, but we have decided not to use it to make our trip more challenging. Our group started trek to the shelter. Pace dictated by Abdu was very good for all of us, quite fast, but not exhausting for people with good condition. We had two stops - one for an orange juice and one for our lunch, which was tasty and there was more food that three of us could eat. In the shelter he has allowed us to go few hundred meters higher to see the views. Later we had a dinner in the shelter and we were said to be ready for a breakfast at 5am. We left at 5:30, after few groups, but Abdu's pace was again 100% great for us and we passed all other groups and were first on the top of North Africa. He took few photos of us. Going down was also very fast and he told us few legends and showed us places with nice views. We have decided not to stay for a lunch in the shelter and Abdu has organised lunch for us lower. He told us about prices for souvenirs and gave us few tips about Morroco.
Abdu was a great guide, hope to meet him again.
The trip was organised very professionally, and I will for sure recommend this for my friends.

Our guide Brahim was very experienced,... read more strong and had an excellent knowledge of the areas and of alternative routes. Thanks to him we were able to do several ascents and descents safely, enjoyed great panoramas and got to know a lot about the Imlil valley, its inhabitants and culture. The refuge itself would need a change of mattresses and the food could be a little bit better, but still, it's a mountain hut and as such everything ok. The employees at the refuge are friendly and do their best. All over it was a great experience!

One of us had a litlle problems but Abde helped us and it all worked out. After that we got a delicious diner in the Refuge du Toubkal.
It was one of the best moutains treking. We will come back for sure.:)
